Donna Zuckerberg is a writer and editor. She received her Ph.D. in Classics from Princeton University in 2014. According to a (very negative) review of her first book—Not All Dead White Men: Classics and Misogyny in the Digital Age (Harvard University Press, 2018)—in Quillette, she became “arguably… the most influential scholar of Greek and Latin literature in America” as editor-in-chief of Eidolon, the prize-winning online Classics publication she ran from 2015-2020. Her writing has appeared in the Washington Post, the Times Literary Supplement, Jezebel, BBC Online, and Avidly, and she has has given lectures on her research at dozens of colleges and universities across the country, including Harvard, Yale, and Stanford, and also internationally in Canada, Norway, and the UK. She lives with her family in Palo Alto, CA.
